Haye 'will face Klitschkos next year'

David Haye's trainer Adam Booth is confident that the long-awaited title clashes with the Klitschko brothers are set to take place sooner rather than later.

Haye's three-round demolition of Audley Harrison at Manchester's MEN Arena meant that the WBA heavyweight champion is unquestionably the only viable opponent for the Ukrainian brothers Wladimir and Vitali, who between themselves hold the WBC, WBO, IBO and IBF world titles.

"I am 99.99% sure the Klitschko fights will happen next year. One before the summer, and one after the summer," Booth told Sky Sports News.

"There are no tie-ins, no options. At the time when we were negotiating with them there were a couple of mandatory challengers floating around that had to be taken of, and one or two contractual points to sort out. But the time is coming now when both parties will be free to commit 100%."

Wladimir Klitschko's next challenger is Briton Derek Chisora in Mannheim on December 11, while brother Vitali beat Shannon Briggs in Hamburg in October.
