I can't take Haye seriously, Chisora is better - Klitschko

Wladimir Klitschko insists that next opponent Dereck Chisora "is much more dangerous" than David Haye, who he "can't take seriously" as a heavyweight champion.

Having failed to agree a unification bout with WBA king Haye - negotiations collapsed over a financial dispute - Klitschko defends his WBO and IBF straps against Chisora in Germany on December 11.

Although he insists he is refusing to look beyond the Chisora bout, Klitschko continued the verbal battle with Haye that has now lasted for the best part of 18 months. The war of words kicked off when the two did sign a contract to fight each other in 2009 - a clash that was scrapped after the Englishman picked up an injury.

"I'm tired of making comments about David Haye," Klitschko told the Guardian. "It's very questionable Haye will dare face Vitali or me. It's ridiculous with this guy. He did sign a contract to fight me [last year] but then he didn't show up. He pulled out of the fight.

"The man lies a lot. He and his manager are trying to be super smart but their options are running out. I can't take this guy seriously - he might never show up. We can't even rely on a signed contact with Haye. So who can say? I want to fight Haye and it would be very personal.

"I can't accept what he has done. He calls us the Bitchkos but what I do care about is when he shows images of my family with their heads cut off. I'm not allowing anyone to do that to my family. He has gone too far. I'm much more focused on Chisora because he is much more dangerous than Haye."
