Prescott calls Khan a runner

Breidis Prescott has called on Amir Khan to stop running, with the prospect of a rematch back in the spotlight after a potential clash between Khan and Paul McCloskey was shelved.
McCloskey had been lined up for a crack at WBA light-welterweight king Khan by his promoter Barry Hearn, but the fight is off after terms could not be agreed.
"The offer was a joke," Hearn said. "There's no way I'm letting Paul fight for peanuts. They made the offer, I rejected it and as far as I can see the fight is dead. We'll certainly not be going back to them to negotiate.
"Frankly, I don't know who Khan is going to get to fight for the money he was offering Paul. Certainly Victor Ortiz wouldn't and I don't think any quality fighter would allow themselves to box for the money Paul was offered."
Prescott claims he will not walk away from a fight with Khan on account of money. The Colombian is the only man to beat Khan in the Brit's pro career and after seeing his own progress stall, he is keen for another crack at the big time.
"Amir, I remain ready, willing and able to give you a rematch," Prescott said. "I won't price myself out of the fight. You'll have no trouble selling it to TV. Stop this running and do what the fans want you to do and what your legacy as a great fighter demands that you do: fight me."
