Golden Boy and Roach disagree on Khan's future

Steve Bunce column: Paul McCloskey won't face Khan again - despite 'disgraceful' decision
Zab Judah is the latest name to be linked with a fight against WBA light-welterweight champion Amir Khan, as Paul McCloskey's hopes of a rematch continue to fade.
Despite the controversial end to his clash with McCloskey, Khan maintains that his next opponent is set to be Timothy Bradley, who holds the WBC and WBO titles in his division.
Khan's trainer, Freddie Roach, suggested that his charge could move up in weight and fight Manny Pacquiao after Bradley - but Richard Schaefer, the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, has proposed a battle with Zab Judah, who wears the IBF light-welterweight strap.
"The winner of [the fight between Khan and Bradley] would then have three belts, and then, assuming that Khan wins that fight, the idea would be coming back in November or December," Schaefer told Boxing Scene. "There is a fourth belt, so maybe he could unify the title against whoever holds that fourth belt.
"Right now, that's Zab Judah, and the fight would be for the undisputed light-welterweight title. Then, after that, he could move up to 147 pounds."
Meanwhile, Schaefer has confirmed that Khan has extended his contract with Golden Boy, further decreasing the likelihood of him fighting in England any time soon. "We did extend our contract with Amir, finalising a new multi-fight deal which means he will get some very big fights," Schaefer said.
