Pacquiao weighs in at 145lbs
Manny Pacquiao weighed in at 145lbs ahead of his title defence against Shane Mosley, two pounds under the welterweight limit.
Mosley, the bigger man by three inches, came in right on the limit - tipping the scales at 147lbs.
Pacquiao (52-3-2) is the overwhelming favourite for the fight, but persisted with his pre-bout assertions that Mosley will provide a stiff opponent.
"It's going to be a good fight, with a lot of action in the ring," Pacquiao said after the weigh-in.
Meanwhile Mosley (46-6-1) is aiming to prove that he is not past his prime, even at the age of 39 and coming off comprehensive defeats to Floyd Mayweather Jr and Sergio Mora.
"It gives me a lot of motivation to overcome," Mosley said. "I don't read too much into it. I don't care that people are saying I'm an underdog or not. What matters is what happens in the ring. It only matters what happens on May 7. That's the only thing that matters."
