Froch expects to face DeGale

Carl Froch thinks James DeGale is "far superior technically" to George Groves - but he is not prepared to predict a winner when the two meet for the British and Commonwealth super-middleweight titles on Saturday.
While Froch, the WBC champion, was impressed with DeGale's gold medal performance at the 2008 Olympics, he has admired Groves' resilience in the pro ranks - particularly when he picked himself off the floor to defeat Kenny Anderson last November.
And Froch, who fights Glen Johnson in the Super Six tournament on June 4, expects to fight one of the two British prospects before he hangs up his gloves.
"It's a 50-50 fight for me," Froch told Sky Sports. "DeGale has the far superior technical ability, he's looked impressive in the fights he's had. We know George Groves has plenty of bottle, because Kenny Anderson put him in some serious deep water and he managed to pull through to a victory.
"Over the course of the next year or so, I'm still going to be fighting, and they're big fights for me. Domestic fights that are world level fights. So you can't rule them out, and dependant on results at the weekend, it could map something out for my future homecoming."
