Cleverly camp hit out at Braehmer

Nathan Cleverly has hit at out Juergen Braehmer following his decision to pull out of their WBO light-heavyweight title fight three days ahead of the bout.
The Cleverly camp have been left scrambling for an opponent, and he may not get a shot at the title, following the news German fighter Braehmer had pulled out after failing to report for a pre-fight session.
Braehmer's management have put forward a cut above the eye as the reason behind the decision to scratch, but it has not sat well with unbeaten Welshman Cleverly.
"I had a feeling he'd drop out of this fight. It's just very disappointing," Cleverly told Sky Sports. "This was the fight I really wanted, I've been gunning for him for over a year now.
"He is the champion, it is very unprofessional, he has ducked out of the fight as far as I'm concerned, the proof is now there that he doesn't want to fight me.
"Maybe I'll be elevated to the world champion and as far as I'm concerned I'm still going to be fighting on Saturday and my celebrations will start after that fight."
Cleverly's father and trainer has called on the WBO to strip Braehmer of the title.
"It is unfortunate, but he has done it before - he has done it with (Beibut) Shumenov and now to Nathan and the guy ought to be stripped," Vince Cleverly said. "You can't trust the guy. Braehmer should not be given another chance to do this to someone again."
Vince Cleverly feels there is no doubt that his son will be in action at the O2 on Saturday evening.
"He will be fighting, 100%," Vince Cleverly said. "They will get somebody in, somebody who is ranked in top 50 in the WBO. So you are still going to see a good fight."
