David Haye admits to feeling the grip of fatigue ahead of his fight with Wladimir Klitschko on July 2 - but insists he will be at his peak by the time he enters the ring in Hamburg.

Haye is likely to test his stamina heavily on fight night, with the Brit expected to use a lot of lateral movement in order to prevent Klitschko landing his powerful, relentless jab.

He has roped in mountainous sparring partners - David Price and Robert Helenius - in order to mimic Klitschko's style and, before flying to Germany, he revealed that he had extended himself for the full 15 rounds during the final hours of his training camp.

"My gut feeling is great," he told Sky Sports. "I did 15 hard rounds last night, really pushed myself to the limit and am feeling tired, but as the days get closer to the fight my energy levels will get better and I'll be amazing by Saturday night - at my best.

"I don't get any adrenaline until when I'm in the ring. I'll be relaxed until I walk out for the fight, and hopefully I'll get some feelings when I see the crowd. Then when I see him walk to the ring with his music, I know it's time to go to work.

"I know he's going to be in tremendous shape. It's going to be a great fight. If you've never watched a boxing match before, this is the one to see."
