Rewind to 2003: Vitali gives Lennox the fright of his life

As if he didn't have enough to worry about this week, David Haye has landed himself in hot water by posting a link on Twitter to a spoof Nazi film featuring Adolf Hitler.

The video, which uses a clip from the movie Downfall about Hitler's last days, fakes a conversation about Haye's world heavyweight title clash with Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday. There are no suggestions that Haye, or anyone in his camp, created the clip.

The film's sub-titles show Hitler using the word "n*****" and swearing repeatedly due to concerns that Klitschko is going to be knocked out by Haye.

The British Boxing Board of Control is already investigating two obscene tweets released by Haye, including one last week which read: "Wife walk into bedroom & says to husband, 'Shall I slip into something that will make you smile?' Hubby replies, 'Yes. A coma u ****!'"

Now he looks set to find himself facing a fresh probe. "All he is trying to do is push the pay-per-view sales up but why does he have to do this? This fight doesn't need stupid publicity like that to sell it," said promoter Frank Warren.

"Every fight he's involved in seems to get dragged down. He used to be a scout, so he should know better. It's just vile and stupid - Klitschko isn't from Germany, he's from Ukraine. Haye's moronic beyond belief."
