Comment: Haye all bark and no bite

David Haye says a rematch with Wladimir Klitschko would be a "perfect fight" for him as he tries to avoid ending his career on a losing note.

The Brit, who intends to walk away from boxing before his 31st birthday in October, was comprehensively beaten by Klitschko in Hamburg on Saturday - although Haye revealed afterwards he was hindered by a broken toe.

At the post-match press conference, Klitschko claimed he was open to the idea of facing Haye again - but the Londoner doubts whether the Ukrainian will keep to his word.

"I've set my retirement for three months' time, so I'm going to have to think hard and think fast about what I'm going to do," Haye told Sky Sports. "It's not ideal to go out on a loss, I'd like to get a rematch - but I'm not holding my breath. He's not the sort of guy to go back into a dangerous fight, where he was hurt and I wasn't 100%.

"He's a great fighter and a good guy and he did what he needed to win, so hats off to him.

"A rematch would be the perfect fight, but whether that will happen is a whole different story. I'd like to go out as unified champ, ever since I won the heavyweight title that was my goal."
