Ulster have completed the signing of lock Lewis Stevenson from Aviva Premiership side Harlequins.

The 26-year-old second-rower will head to Ravenhill in the summer as a replacement for the Bath-bound Ryan Caldwell.

Stevenson, an Ireland Under-19 and Under-21 international, was previously on the books of Ulster before joining Exeter Chiefs and made the switch to Harlequins in the summer of 2009.

"I'm very excited to be joining Ulster," he said. "When I left the province it was always my intention to come back with a bit of experience under my belt.

"It's a great time for Ulster at the moment and it's brilliant to be able to come on board. It's going to be an exciting new challenge for me and I'm delighted."
