Former Sale Sharks coaching duo Philippe Saint-Andre and Kingsley Jones will reunite to oversee the Barbarians' summers clashes with England and Ireland.

Saint-Andre quit Edgeley Park last year to take charge of Top 14 outift Toulon and was replaced in the role of director of rugby at Sale by the man who had served as his head coach, Jones. The duo will now renew what was a successful working relationship for the Baa-Baas' meetings with England and Ireland, on May 30 and June 4 respectively.

The pair look set to have a fine pool of players to work with as the Barbarians president Micky Steele-Bodger has confirmed that Danny Cipriani, Paul Sackey, Jerry Collins, Carl Hayman, Doug Howlett, Alan Quinlan, Jean de Villiers and Paul Warwick have all made themselves available for selection.

"The game against England never fails to attract big-name players to our team and this year we have the added bonus of a second major test against Ireland in Limerick," Steele-Bodger said.

"Such a demanding itinerary places the onus on us to assemble top quality individuals from around the world and, once again, we are encouraged by the readiness of such players to accept invitations to join us. More names will be announced after the teams involved in the various end-of-season competitions in Europe and the Super 14 finals in the southern hemisphere are finalised."
