Ospreys winger Tommy Bowe has collected yet another personal honour ahead of his side's Magners League Grand Final showdown against Leinster later this month.

The Ireland international, who signed for the Ospreys two years ago and signed a new three-year deal in December, was named the Players' Player of the Year by the Welsh Rugby Players' Association (WRPA) at a glittering ceremony in Cardiff last night. This latest accolade follows on from Bowe being voted this season's Six Nations Player of the Championship and the Players' Player of the Year by the Irish Rugby Union Players' Association (IRUPA).

The 26-year-old, who also toured South Africa with the British & Irish Lions last summer, saw off Dragons wing, Aled Brew, and Blues duo, Bradley Davies and Xavier Rush, to the honour.

Dragons fly-half Jason Tovey scooped the Players' Young Player of the Season award ahead of Blues lock Davies and Scarlets hooker, Ken Owens, who was recently named in Warren Gatland's 27-man Wales squad for the forthcoming Tests against South Africa and New Zealand this summer.

Paul Turner's Dragons, who qualified for this season's Heineken Cup ahead of the Scarlets, beat the other three Welsh regions to be named Team of the Season and Shane Williams' dramatic last ditch try to clinch a dramatic victory over Scotland in the Six Nations was named Try of the Season.
