Connacht's Brian Tuohy and Johnny O'Connor are set for lengthy spells on the sidelines after picking up injuries during their recent defeat to Leinster.

Tuohy broke his leg in Sunday's 15-13 defeat to the RaboDirect PRO12 leaders at the Sportsground. The 29-year-old winger underwent surgery yesterday and he is expected to be out of action for several months. O'Connor fractured his eye socket/cheekbone and despite finishing the game, the 31-year-old will also require surgery according to the Irish Times.

Connacht's injury woes do not end there with prop Ronan Loughney forced off with a shoulder injury during the same game while Niall O'Connor pulled up in the warm-up. Eric Elwood's side will bid to end a 12-game losing streak in all competitions against Aironi in Viadana this weekend.
