Ulster hooker Andi Kyriacou has been suspended by the Irish Province for one week following an incident in a Treviso taxi last Saturday night, according to reports.

Kyriacou is alleged to have spat and urinated in the taxi during a night out following Ulster's 27-23 victory at the Stadio di Monigo. The English-born 29-year-old, capped by Ireland A, will miss Saturday's RaboDirect Pro12 match against Aironi at Ravenhill but will be available for their Heineken Cup quarter-final against Munster in Thomond Park on April 8.

"We are aware that following Ulster's away Pro 12 match at Treviso last Saturday, Andi Kyriacou was involved in an off-field incident," Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin told the Irish Times. "The issue has now been dealt with through our internal disciplinary process. Andi has accepted the disciplinary action."
