England confident over Swann
Graeme Swann has rejoined the England squad ahead of the first Test in India, following his trip back to England due to his baby's illness.
Swann left the England camp last week to fly home to be with his family, but he landed back in Ahmedabad on Monday morning.
It was an 8000-mile round trip for Swann, but England are confident he will have acclimatised by the time the first Test gets underway on Thursday.
"It's great his little one's okay," assistant coach Richard Halsall said. "I wouldn't have thought he'd have been thinking about staying in the Indian time zone back home.
"He's a fantastic Test cricketer. He's got three days now to get himself ready - and with someone of Graeme's experience, he'll be fine for 9.30 on Thursday."
