ECB confirms no fracture for Broad
Scans have revealed Stuart Broad has not suffered a fracture to his foot, the England and Wales Cricket Board has confirmed.
Broad suffered an injury to his right foot after being struck on the boot by Mitchell Johnson during England's first innings in the third Ashes Test in Perth.
While he did not bowl during Australia's second innings at the WACA, Broad indicated he is still willing to bat in an attempt to stave off the hosts' chances of securing Ashes victory.
