Bresnan: Mood 'strange' in England camp

Tim Bresnan is adamant that England will still be playing for pride despite having already lost the Ashes series to Australia, but admitted there is a different feeling in the dressing room ahead of the fourth Test in Melbourne.
England suffered heavy defeats in Brisbane and Adelaide, before the hosts regained the Urn with a 150-run victory in Perth. Australia now leads the five-match series 3-0.
However, fast bowler Bresnan indicated he fully expects Alastair Cook's side to recover from their poor form and stated they will be more than up for putting things right at the MCG.
"There's been a strange atmosphere around the place," Bresnan told BBC Sport. "There's a feeling of huge disappointment and what might have been, if we'd have got runs here or runs there. But at the end of the day we weren't good enough.
"There's definitely a kneejerk reaction that goes on, whether it's after losing a series or losing two Tests in a row. I think people forget we have been successful for the last five years and this is the first series we've actually lost that I can remember.
"The Ashes are gone but we are still playing for pride. It's Boxing Day, it's [in] Melbourne and you don't get much bigger than that - there's certainly no bigger crowd in world cricket, so I think the boys will be up for it.
"I don't think it's a dead Test match. We're still looking to make it 3-2. How you bounce back from the lowest point is how you're judged as a team."
