Fergie ready to unleash Rooney

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed Wayne Rooney is likely to make his return to action for Manchester United in their crunch clash with Tottenham on Sunday.
Rooney has sat out United's last couple of games after taking a knock on the ankle during the club's win over West Brom on New Year's Day.
The forward returned to full training this week and provided he comes through a session on Friday, will be in the party for the trip to the capital - as will captain and key defender Nemanja Vidic.
"On the injury front we have Wayne and Nemanja training," Ferguson said at his press conference on Friday. "They should be fit for Sunday.
"Edwin van der Sar is a possible, he should train today. Going to such a big game we have a big squad available to us, which is nice. And we have had a week's rest, so it should be a fantastic game."
Ferguson is aware of the threat carried by Spurs and has heaped praise on his counterpart, Harry Redknapp.
"Obviously the development of Tottenham has been interesting," he said. "I have never taken United to the Lane with them challenging for the League. I may be wrong, but I can't remember that in my time at United. That is the change in the fortunes of Tottenham under Harry and they have some exciting players."
