Taione appeal set for tomorrow

The Sanzar Super 14 rugby appeal committee will hear an appeal by the Sharks against the six-week suspension given to Epi Taione tomorrow.

Taione was banned after being found guilty of striking with his head during the Sharks' match against the Hurricanes in a Super 14 match on April 5.

The appeal committee is made up of Chris Morris, Jannie Lubbe SC and Dennis Wheelahan QC.
