Two bronze medals for Britain at World Cup

Great Britain earned two bronze medals on the first day of the track World Cup in Mexico.

In the women's race, Victoria Williamson, 20, and 18-year-old debutant Dannielle Khan beat a French pair in the in the race for third place.

For the men, Callum Skinner, John Paul and Lewis Oliva won bronze when their opponents, also from France, were disqualified for an illegal changeover.

Meanwhile, the men's team pursuit squad, featuring World Cup debutants Jacob Ragan, Oliver Wood and Chris Latham alongside Jon Dibben, were 13th.

Ragan also finished 12th in the 30km points race, while Olympic and world team pursuit champion Dani King was 14th in the scratch race.
