Adams sets up Dekker clash
Martin Adams set up a BDO World Darts Championship quarter-final against Jan Dekker after easing past Ross Montgomery 4-1 at Lakeside.
Adams was 2-0 up before Montgomery claimed a set back, but the Scot's attempt at a comeback ended there. Adams bounced back immediately to reclaim his two-set lead, before closing out the match.
Dekker had opened the afternoon session with a 4-2 victory over Geert de Vos.
Elsewhere, Lisa Ashton saw off the challenge of the Netherlands' Aileen de Graaf, edging their contest 2-1.
In the evening session, Stephen Bunting survived a scare to come back from two sets down and seal a 5-2 win over Rick Hofstra.
The win set up a semi-final against Robbie Green, who beat Tony Eccles by the same scoreline.
Wales' Julie Gore also suffered a 2-0 quarter-final defeat to Ann Louise Peters, while England's Deta Hedman saw off German Irina Armstrong 2-0 to progress to the semi-finals.
