Lethal Akram decimates India in Champions Cup final
SHARJAH, United Arab Emirates, April 16 (AFP) - Pakistani captain Wasim Akram
produced a deadly opening burst to send India crashing to a eight-wicket defeat
in the Champions Cup final here on Friday.
The left-arm seamer grabbed two wickets off successive balls in the first over
of the match as Pakistan skittled India for a shocking 125 and then raced to
victory with 22 overs to spare.
