England's Twickenham showdown with New Zealand has been rescheduled for November 6 following a request from the All Blacks. The game had originally been slated for December 4 but the New Zealand Rugby Union asked for the date to be changed in order for their players to return home earlier after a gruelling Test season. The schedule change also opens the door for New Zealand and Australia to play a Bledisloe Cup Test in Asia on October 30. Premier Rugby and the Professional Game Board rubber-stamped the fixture reshuffle, with England also set to take on Australia, Samoa and world champions South Africa during their November schedule. "We indicated to the RFU that, if possible, we would have preferred to play the match earlier in November to allow our players the chance to get home earlier. The RFU agreed to the change, so that's great news," NZRU chief executive Steve Tew said. © Scrum.com
