Shane Williams believes Gavin Henson will play for Wales again and the Ospreys wing wants to see him back at the region.
Henson has been heavily linked with a move to Saracens despite having been out of rugby for more than a year. The former British & Irish Lions centre is currently participating in television show Strictly Come Dancing, but is believed to want to play at next year's Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
Williams admitted the Henson saga has dragged on for the Welsh players, but he said his team-mate would adapt to rugby quickly on his return.
"I would love to see him back on the field, preferably with Ospreys and Wales," Williams told The Western Mail. "He is such a talent. I hope he comes back eventually. If it's with Saracens so be it, but I would like to see him with us. I am sure he will play for Wales again. He is keeping himself fit, and he is the sort of player who will play some good rugby after a couple of games.
"I watched him on Strictly the other day and he's probably in the best nick he's ever been to be fair. He's one of these players that as soon as he's had a few games he will start playing some good rugby again. I would love to see Gav play for Wales, whether it's this year, next year or whenever. I would certainly prefer to see him on the field rather than on the dance-floor.
"The boys are fed up of trying to catch up on the Gavin Henson-gate! I don't know where he finds the time to go training really with all the Strictly Come Dancing stuff. He's certainly busy enough at the moment."
Henson trained with Saracens on Monday and could confirm a move by the end of this week if he can sort out contract issues with the Ospreys, while he is committed to the television show until December.
Saracens chief executive Edward Griffiths said earlier this week there were some "outstanding issues" to resolve with the Ospreys, who have yet to comment on the possibility of Henson leaving Wales for Watford.
