Aviva Premiership champions Harlequins have announced that academy manager Tony Diprose has penned a new two-year deal to keep him at the Stoop until the end of the 2014-15 season.

With youth at the core of Harlequins' championship winning team, Diprose, who is also responsible for the side's defence, is looking to continue his coaching education at the club.

"I feel as though I am developing and learning hugely within our first team coaching environment alongside Conor, John, Mark and Collin," Diprose said. "I am looking forward to helping us build on this season's successes and also continuing to develop Harlequins academy players to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Chris Robshaw, Mike Brown and Jordan Turner-Hall."

Speaking on Diprose's re-signing, director of rugby COnor O'Shea said that Diprose's "contribution to Harlequins both in developing the next generation of young players and his work with the first team, is nothing short of exceptional".
