Former Gloucester winger Tom Voyce has signed for Aviva Premiership side London Welsh.

Voyce, who left the Cherry and Whites last summer, has previously turned out for Wasps and he will come up against his old side when he plays for the Exiles this Sunday. The 31-year-old, who has played for England on nine occasions, has been turning out for London Welsh in the A-League and after impressing coach Lyn Jones, he has been rewarded with a permanent deal.

He will start for the Exiles at fullback against Wasps and comes into the side for the injured Tom Arscott.

"I am delighted to be joining London Welsh and excited to be able to contribute to what has been a good start to their season," Voyce said. "Lyn and the players have been great in welcoming me into their culture

"For me it's a case of getting my head down and proving a few points. There are some great challenges ahead for us as a team and that is what rugby is all about."
