Sarah Hunter will captain England women on their three-Test tour to New Zealand in July.

Hunter captained England during the recent Six Nations and retains the captaincy despite the return of her predecessor Katy McLean who missed the tournament.

"Unquestionably this is a hugely important tour as we countdown to the Rugby World Cup," England head coach Gary Street told the BBC. "Playing at big stadiums like Eden Park and in front of big, passionate, rugby-mad crowds, as well as taking on the world champions, will provide me with an invaluable opportunity to access where we are 12 months out from the World Cup."

The first Test takes place at Eden Park on July 13, the second at Waikato Stadium on July 16 and the third on July 20 at the ECOlight Stadium.
