The Barbarians have unveiled their team for the match against England on Sunday at Twickenham and World Cup-winning centre Mike Tindall has been handed the captain's armband.

England have opted to rest a host of their players for the summer tour to South America so they are expected to name a youthful side for Sunday's uncapped match against the famous invitational side. The Baabaas will be coached by Wasps boss Dai Young, alongside Tindall, and the team features three of the London side's players with Elliot Daly at fullback, Jonathan Poff at openside and Marco Wentzel in the locks.

And Young has opted for plenty of pace on the wings with Taku Ngwenya and Timoci Nagusa lining up. In the centres, Tindall is partnered by Munster's Casey Laulala while Young has opted for two former British & Irish Lions at half-back - Sale's Dwayne Peel and Perpignan's James Hook.

In the pack, Andrea Lo Cicero, Matthew Rees - who won three Test caps with the Lions in 2009 - and James Johnston link up with Jim Hamilton partnering Wentzel at lock. Poff is joined by Italy's impressive flanker Alessandro Zanni and towering No.8 Imanol Harinordquay in the back-row.

With Nick Evans and Dimitri Yachvili named on the bench, they could be in line for a start in the Barbarians' next match which is against the Lions in Hong Kong on June 1.

Barbarians team:

Elliot Daly (London Wasps), Taku Ngwenya (Biarritz), Casey Laulala (Munster), Mike Tindall (Gloucester, captain), Timoci Nagusa (Montpellier), James Hook (Perpignan), Dwayne Peel (Sale Sharks); Andrea Lo Cicero (Racing Metro), Matthew Rees (Scarlets), James Johnston (Harlequins), Jim Hamilton (Gloucester), Marco Wentzel (Wasps), Alessandro Zanni (Treviso), Jonathan Poff (Wasps), Imanol Harinordoquay (Biarritz)
