London Welsh have confirmed they will continue to play their home games at the Kassam Stadium following their relegation from the Aviva Premiership.

The Exiles made a high-profile switch to the Oxford ground from their traditional Old Deer Park home last year in order to meet Premiership entry requirements. But their long-term commitment to the stadium, that they share with Oxford United FC, was called into doubt after they failed to cement their top flight status.

Chairman Bleddyn Phillips said: "We are delighted that we will be playing our home games in the Championship at the Kassam Stadium, which proved such a very good base for our team and supporters last season.

"We have learned much from our first season playing in the Oxford area and we very much want to continue that relationship and extend and deepen the ties we have already established here."
