The Bedford Blues have signed Sam Stanley from Saracens and have dual-registered two of their promising players.

Fly-half-come-centre Sam Stanley has signed for the Championship side while promising forwards Tom Jubb and Nic Auterac have completed dual-registration deals. Blues director of rugby Mike Rayer told Bedford Today: "He's [Stanley] a signed and registered Bedford Blues player now. He played for us last year in the Mobbs Memorial game and he's a good player, he's predominantly a centre but can play at fly half as well.

"We have got Tom Jubb and Nick Auterac in, those two are dual registered with Saracens. Jubb gives us great cover at second row and back row, he can play at six. He's highly rated at Saracens and he's a good, young, promising forward player.

"Auterac is an England Under 20's international. Last season he had a terrific time, not just in the LV Cup games but in some of the Premiership games as well so we're very pleased to have him."
