Superman signs up for Jersey

Jersey have received a boost of superhuman proportions this week with the news the man who played Superman - Henry Cavill - has joined the club as a season ticket holder.

Cavill, who was born in Jersey, is a rugby fan and was present at their pre-season game against Leicester Tigers a couple of weeks ago. And he is hopeful of getting to as many games as possible this season at the Greene King IPA Championship side but that will be determined by his filming schedule.

He is currently filming a film of The Man from U.N.C.L.E series and the club say he has already shown his support for their efforts by purchasing one of their jerseys.
