Bath coach Mike Ford believes Semesa Rokoduguni has the ability to make the 2015 World Cup squad.

Rokoduguni, who was born in Fiji, is a Lance Corporal in the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and was named in the England Saxons squad ahead of their games against the Ireland Wolfhounds and Scotland A later this month.

He has only been on the Aviva Premiership scene since last season, when Ford brought him to Bath, but England are impressed with his work rate and Ford believes he can make an impact in the Test side sooner rather than later.

"He has a very good chance of playing for England," Ford told The Times."Without doubt he could be in the England squad in 2015. The World Cup is realistic for any player who puts together an outstanding run of form.

"One of our props, Kane Palmer-Newport, said 'it's not fair, rugby is easy for him' and I knew exactly what he meant. He has the body, the power and the pace to glide past people.

"He doesn't look like he is going very fast but nobody can catch him. You hit him and he is like granite and he is good in defence. He still has a lot to learn but he has the attitude to get better. He has only been in a professional environment for two seasons now but if he carries on at this rate of progression he will be very, very good."
