The Sharks have named a starting line-up which includes eight Springboks to face Saracens at Allianz Park this weekend.
The special one-off match will pit the current Aviva Premiership leaders against the reigning South African Currie Cup champions - and Saracens have already promised to field the strongest team possible. The Sharks have done similar, as they view the match as a perfect pre-season test.
The South African internationals in their starting line-up are Tendai Mtawarira, Bismarck and Jannie Du Plessis, Pieter-Steph du Toit, Jean Deysel, Willem Alberts, Lwazi Mvovo and Odwa Ndungane. Club director of rugby Jake White admits the club are raring to go and hope the friendly on the artificial turf in Barnet can have a positive impact on his side ahead of the upcoming season.
"What I enjoy about this game is that it mimics a little bit of what we can expect from the Bulls," said White.
"Saracens play a little bit like the Bulls, they have a big pack of forwards, their set-piece is strong and they kick a lot.
"It gives me and the coaching staff an opportunity to see the things we want to do against the Bulls, to have an idea of whether or not we can play against the Bulls in a certain way.
