England and London Irish wing Marland Yarde has signed a deal thought to be worth £200,000 a year to join Harlequins, according to the Daily Mail.

Yarde's future has been uncertain for much of the season but it appears Quins have beaten off interest from Premiership leaders Saracens, Bath and Irish - who were desperate to keep the wing in Sunbury. For Irish it would signal another huge setback following last season's departures of Alex Corbisiero to Northampton, Jonathan Joseph to Bath and Jamie Gibson to Leicester.

The move would give Harlequins the prospect of a back three of Yarde, Ugo Monye and England full-back Mike Brown. There options on the wing may also be bolstered by Fijian international Asaeli Tikoirotuma from the Chiefs, who has reportedly signed a deal to come to London next season.

Fairfax NZ News reports Tikoirotuma, who has won back-to-back rugby titles with the Chiefs, has signed a two-year deal with Quins.
