Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall and seven of his backroom staff have signed extensions keeping them at Allianz Park until June 2017.

McCall led Saracens to the title after taking over the director of rugby position during the 2010-11 campaign and his side currently sit top of the Aviva Premiership, where they finished last season before defeat in the play-offs. His initial deal ran until 2015.

"I believe we have assembled an outstanding group of people, on and offer the field," Saracens chairman Nigel Wray told the BBC.

"They are intelligent, hard-working and absolutely dedicated to the challenge of maintaining our progress in recent seasons.

"We are delighted they are all so eager to guide the club through the years ahead.
