Bristol sign Bath's Tom Ellis on dual registration agreement

Championship club Bristol have completed the signing of Bath lock Tom Ellis on a dual registration deal.

Ellis, who has represented England at Under-18 and Under-20 level, began training with his new teammates on Monday. 

"We've been speaking to Danny Grewcock about Tom and we're keen to give him some game-time," Bristol director of rugby Andy Robinson told the club's website. 

"We expect him to fit in and work hard in training and he could play his part across all competitions.

"Daniel Brooks' short-term deal is over and he has returned to New Zealand. We'd like to thank Dan for his contribution and the attitude he showed."
