Gloucester set to sign Fijian

Begles Bordeaux's Fijian flanker Kolinio Sewabu is set to sign for Gloucester within the next 48 hours.

Coach Philippe Saint-Andre has agreed a deal with Sewabu, who recently refused to play for his present club ever again despite having a year left on his contract, but is awaiting France's two-day transfer window.

Saint-Andre hopes to play Sewabu on the blind-side alongside Welsh lock Chris Wyatt, who visited the west country club last for talks on a possible move from Llanelli.

"I expect to hear more from Chris by the end of this week," said the Cherry and Whites coach.
