Sanderson escapes punishment

Sale flanker Alex Sanderson has been reprimanded by Rugby Football Union disciplinary chiefs after being found guilty of misconduct.

But Sanderson has avoided a ban, even though he has been warned about his future conduct.

Sanderson was charged by the independent citing officer with spitting at an opponent during Sale's Premiership defeat at Leicester last month.
