Dallaglio's recovery going to plan
January 11, 2002

England and Wasps flanker Lawrence Dallaglio is continuing his recovery form injury and has come through his first contact session unscathed.

"Lawrence has been training very hard with England fitness coach Dave Reddin," said Wasps rugby director Nigel Melville.

"He started taking contact a few weeks ago on his terms, and this week he has taken part in more game-related contact such as tackling. There have been no side-effects, and everything has been going to plan."

Dallaglio, sidelined since his Lions tour of Australia ended early some seven months ago, could be among the replacements when Wasps visit Premiership rivals Newcastle on January 27.
