Ross signs for Sarries

Saracens have signed Joe Ross from Worcester on a three-year deal.

The 26-year-old will link up with his new team-mates for pre-season training on July 15 ahead of a tour to Japan.

He will be competing with Robert Russell for a place in the Sarries starting line-up under new coach Wayne Shelford.

"I have never played against any of my new team-mates but I want to get involved, play well and stay as long as possible."

His arrival follows that Andy Goode from Leicester, and Saracens are still hopeful Christian Califano will join despite problems with his move from Toulouse.
