Clarke quits Leeds

Ian Clarke has quit Leeds Tykes in an effort to find first team rugby.

Clarke made 34 appearances since arriving from Manchester two seasons ago, but has figured in only six Zurich Premiership games, all from the replacements' bench.

Tykes director of rugby Phil Davies said: "I am disappointed Ian wanted to be released but we are building towards next season and it is important we have players who are happy to be here."
