Tykes sign Scottish duo

Leeds Tykes coach Phil Davies has moved to strengthen his squad ahead of next season with the signing of Scotland internationals Stewart Campbell and Gordon Ross.

Second row Campbell, 30, joins the Headingley side from Italy's Benetton Treviso while 24-year-old fly half Ross signs from Edinburgh Reivers.

Leeds director of rugby Phil Davies said: "I am delighted to have secured Stewart and Ross for next season.

"Stewart has a proven track record at the highest level whilst Ross is an extremely talented young player who has rapidly moved up the order in Scotland.

"Both are ambitious players and it is great to have them here for the start of pre-season."
