Leeds Tykes have today confirmed the signing of Argentinean international centre Hernan Senillosa, 25, as cover for injured Springbok Japie Mulder.

Senillosa has made three appearances for the full Argentina team and has also appeared on a number of occasions for Argentina A, included appearances against England, South Africa and Italy in the past year.

Commenting on his signing, Director of Rugby, Phil Davies said, "Hernan is an exciting player who has played well for the Puma's A team and their sevens squad over the past couple of seasons. He will join us initially until the end of October and will provide us with cover in the three quarter positions."

Senillosa, who will join another Puma at Headingley in winger Diego Albanese, arrived in England last Saturday and was at Headingley on Sunday to see his new team mates beat London Irish 41-16 on Sunday. He will train with the squad this week ahead of the clash with NEC Harlequins this Saturday at the Stoop, kick off 3pm.

In seven seasons at his former club, HindĂș, in Buenos Aires, he scored a over 120 tries including 28 in their Championship winning year of 2001.
