Mallinder opts for same again

Sale Sharks coach Jim Mallinder has named an unchanged squad at Heywood Road for the daunting Zurich Premiership clash with reigning champions Leicester on Friday.

Mallinder hopes his side can build on an impressive first-half display at Gloucester on the opening day of their season - and avoid the mistakes which saw them ultimately crash to a 44-8 defeat.

Mallinder said: "We played well in the first half at Gloucester and have been working hard this week trying to ensure we sustain that sort of form throughout the game against Leicester. We will certainly need to if we are to get a result.

"Stuart Turner is close to fitness and should be back in the squad soon and second row Iain Fullarton is running again following surgery on his hip and we expect him back in full contact training very quickly."

Both the Grandstand and East Stand Seated areas are completely sold out for this Friday's clash.

Standing Tickets are still available on 08712-220120 or www.salesharks.com.
