Late night opening with a difference at Bath

You could be in for a surprise this evening if you phone Bath Rugby Ticket Office after 5.30pm to order your tickets for their first home game of the season.

For tonight only, Bath Rugby players Rob Thirlby, Lee Mears and Adam Vander will be on hand to take your orders for match day tickets.

These special opening hours are in honour of Bath's first home match at the Rec against London Wasps on Saturday 14th September, Kick-Off 2pm. The Ticket Office will be open from 5.30pm - 8pm and the players will be on hand to take your calls.

"It's just a bit of fun to mark the start of the new home season at Bath Rugby," says Sarah Dade, Ticket Office Manager. "The players are the stars of the club and what better than to phone up and actually order your tickets through them! We have never done this before but I am confident it will go down well - you show me a supporter who wouldn't want a one-to-one chat with the likes of Adam Vander, Rob Thirlby or Lee Mears! In fact I can see I'm going to have to put a time limit on calls!"
