England winger Paul Sackey insists he has "no interest" in following Wasps team-mates James Haskell, Riki Flutey and Tom Palmer in signing for French clubs.

Haskell and Palmer will join Top 14 side Stade Francais in the summer while Flutey has agreed to join England team-mate Andy Goode at Brive. The triple transfer raid raised immediate concerns of an exodus of players tempted across the Channel by lucrative contracts from French clubs, who are not bound by a salary cap.

Sackey, 29, still has one year remaining on his Wasps contract and is not entertaining the idea of a sojourn to France.

"It is obviously disappointing to see three of my Wasps team-mates James Haskell, Riki Flutey and Tom Palmer leaving for French sides. I respect their decisions, I back them and hope they do well," Sackey wrote in his blog for Powerade. "Would I be interested in following them to France? At the moment I have to say I have no interest in it, and I'm just concentrating on playing for England."

Although disappointed by England's 23-15 defeat to Wales, Sackey scored his first try in five Tests and felt his own form improved from the win over Italy. "While it was a lot better than against Italy on the previous weekend, I still think I, like the rest of the team, have a lot more to offer," said Sackey. "Obviously as a winger I get judged by the tries I score, so it was a nice bonus to get one against the Welsh.

"In some recent games I haven't been as involved as I would have liked, but on Saturday I was more in the game, got hold of the ball plenty of times, and generally felt as a team we were keen to play more attacking rugby."
