England lock Dave Attwood has been cited over two alleged stamping incidents in Tuesday's 28-28 draw with the Australian Barbarians in Perth.

The 23-year-old Gloucester forward is alleged to have stamped on Barbarians scrum-half Josh Valentine in the 34th minute and his opposite number Mitch Chapman in the 50th minute. He has been summoned to appear before an independent disciplinary hearing in Perth tomorrow at 9am.

If found guilty by judicial officer Paul Tully, Attwood could be ruled out of the remainder of England's five-match tour of Australia and New Zealand.

England laboured to an unimpressive draw against the Barbarians on Tuesday and had to battle back from 25-13 down thanks to a late Matt Banahan try. Even then, Berrick Barnes had the chance to defeat England with a last-minute penalty but it sailed just wide.
