Redknapp to miss Spurs' trip to Russia

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp will miss his side's Europa League match away to Rubin Kazan on Thursday for health reasons.
Redknapp will undergo an as yet undisclosed medical procedure, the north London club have confirmed on their official website, meaning the 64-year-old will miss the trip to Russia.
"The club can report that Harry Redknapp is due to undergo a medical procedure tomorrow [Wednesday] morning and will therefore not travel with the squad to Russia for our Europa League fixture against Rubin Kazan," the club said in a statement.
"Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan will assume first team responsibilities in Russia in his absence."
Spurs go into the match in a strong position in Group A at the midway stage. Redknapp's men have picked up two wins and a draw from their first three matches, giving them a two-point advantage over PAOK and a three-point gap over their Russian opponents.
