Tevez agent 'finalising' with AC Milan

Carlos Tevez's agent is working on a deal to take his client to AC Milan, with Kia Joorabchian claiming he has not received any contact from Inter Milan for the Manchester City forward since August.

Argentina international Tevez has been in his native South America since a major fallout with City who have made it clear they want to offload the forward in January.

AC have been at the forefront of the chase and their striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic suggested a deal was in the bag this week when speaking in glowing terms of Tevez.

The waters were muddied when it was claimed Inter were still in the frame. Inter's technical director Marco Branca is understood to have travelled to England to meet Manchester City officials, but Joorabchian claims he is looking to thrash out a deal with AC.

"We're here (in Rio) to finalise with Milan. We haven't heard from Inter since August," he said.
